Type X Phaser Array

Until the development of the Type XII, the Type X was the heaviest weapon in use aboard Federation vessels, comprising the main armament of the Galaxy class starship. The Type X has since seen its incorporation into other ship classes, providing significant firepower to some of Starfleet's largest vessels.
