Verex System

Located inside the infamous Borderlands of the Beta Quadrant, the Verex System includes a small F2V star and three planets. Of these, only Verex III is inhabited, along with the second moon of Verex II.

The system has long been a haven for the Orion Crime Syndicate, as well as a number of assorted pirate and terrorist organizations. Ever so often, the Federation or Klingon authorities have swept through in hopes of shutting down some of the more lucrative criminal aspects. These have met with mixed results, and have yet to eradicate the problems posed by these organizations.
