Vega Colony

Vega Colony (Vega V) was established in the early 22nd Century and was one of Earth's earliest colonies outside of the Sol System. For decades, it as considered on the edge of explored space. Still, it was a major trading partner with Earth during the dawn of Human interstellar travel. Today, it remains of the the Federation's most important trade centers as it straddles several of the busiest commerce routes in the Alpha Quadrant.

Vega Colony sits on the fifth planet of the Vega system, a Class M world very similar to Earth.
