Compact heavy shielding system

The Compact Heavy Shielding System is a smaller and more efficient version of the standard shielding system mounted on Romulan starships. The shielding system provides for a much higher capacity than the Federation's standard shielding system, whereas this is usually due to the starships having a higher level of power supply, it was in the compact version, by providing for greater reactive ability, which by being tied to sensors specifically design for tracking inbound fire better enables the shields to react, enabling greater shield absorption and dissipation, in specific areas of contact.
