1 revision

New page

Position Description
Crew members eating in the Main Lounge can often times get bored of the same old tunes playing over the system, wanting some variety, live music, and someone to request songs from.

Over the years people have played live music in the Lounge for small concerts, or maybe a short performance once a week at the same time each week. But for those times during the week when those players weren't around, and usually had more important things to do such as tend to their duty, there was the piano, or the floor space, empty and without music.

So Starfleet Morale came up with an idea: Hire Civilian musicians who played for the entertainment of others as a career, place them on starbases and, especially, on starships. This worked both ways, for both the civilians being hired and Starfleet. Starfleet gained entertainers who raised crew morale while they were away from home, and civilians gained the chance to serve aboard a ship which saw new things and moved away from home often.

Not all entertainers are piano players and basically have the ability to play music in the Main Lounge, or simply just entertain the crew when needed.

Where to Play
Content...(Bulleted list of sim types. e.g. Starfleet Vessel, Starfleet Research Facility, Starbase, Cruise Liner, Center of Government, Civilian Station, Private Military Ship, etc.)

Character Development Ideas
Content...(Several sections detailing good character development ideas for a civilian character in any of several different scenarios.
