For many years, this area of space was disputed between the two former enemies. Because of its location, Organia became a focal point during the [[First Federation-Klingon War]] and was in fact invaded by the Klingons. After the [[Treaty of Organia]], the planet was again left to its native species and the two governments have become allies, largely due to the intervention of the Organians.<br /> <br /> The Organians originally appeared to be a simple nontechnological farming people with culture rated D-minus on the Richter scale. This illusion quickly vanished, however, as it was learned that the inhabitants were actually immensely advanced, noncorporeal beings.
