It is a soft shapeless organism with its internal organs and circulatory system visible through its milky, translucent skin. Grouping by the thousands, they live in shady damp areas. Feared parasites, the bloodworms attach themselves to their hosts by the use of four mouths located at the end of tentacle-like appendages.
