All small spacecrafts aboard a starship, starbase or a facility (Shuttles, Runabouts, Transports, and Captain's yacht) but excluding fighters are flown by Support Craft Pilots. This is the proving ground for pilots until they earn a berth on a starship as a helmsman. They report to the Senior Support Craft Pilot.
Unlike fighter pilots, support craft pilots can be enlisted ranks.
