• Jonathan Archer is named Federation Ambassador to Andor.

• USS Horizon visits Sigma Iotia II and leaves behind a book describing Chicago gangs of the 1920's. The ship was destroyed shortly after leaving orbit and its signal was not received until a century later.
• Terran settlers establish a genome colony on Moab IV under a sealed pressure dome. It is their hope to create the perfect society there.

• The USS Archon is destroyed at Beta III in the star system C-111 by the planet's master computer, Landru. All hands are believed lost, but some of the crew are "absorbed" by the computer.
• The USS Essex (NCC-173) is destroyed in an electromagnetic storm over the Class M moon of planet Mab-Bu VI. The fate of the ship is not known until 2368.

• Deneva is colonized by the Federation.

2165

• Ambassador Sarek of Vulcan is born. He will go on to be one of the Federation's most distinguished diplomats.
• The colony ship SS Mariposa (NAR-7678) delivers a group of Human Neo-transcendentalists to the planet Bringloid V. Shortly afterwards, it crash-lands on a planet a half a light year away. There are only five survivors.

• A Federation scout makes contact with the peoples of Ornara and Brekka and reports that the former is near space-flight capability, while the latter is far less advanced. It also notes that the Ornaran are suffering from a planet-wide plague.
• Vega IX joins the Federation.
• The Bringloidi settle on Bringloid V.

• Alpha III joins the Federation.

• Starfleet Corps of Engineers created.

• The United Federation of Planets is founded in San Francisco, on Earth on October 11th. The Federation Charter is originally signed by the members of the Coalition of Planets, with the exception of Coridan. Their respective militaries are combined to form the new Starfleet and Starfleet Marine Corps. Starfleet Academy is established in San Francisco.
• The Enterprise returns to Rigel X to help Andorian Commander Thy'lek Shran rescue his daughter.
• NX-01 USS Enterprise is retired with plans for a new class of starship to be built.

• The Earth-Romulan War comes to an end with a victory for Earth and her allies in the Battle of Cheron. A treaty (The Neutral Zone Treaty is created over subspace radio with neither race having come face to face with their enemy throughout the war. The Romulan Neutral Zone is created.
• The Earth survey ship VK Velikan is launched.

• The Coalition of Planets, a precursor to the United Federation of Planets is founded.
• The decontamination of Cold Station 12 is complete.
• The xenophopic terrorist group Terra Prime sees a resurgence after the Xindi attacks and reorganizes on Luna.
• The Romulans launch a devastating attack on the planet Coridan, triggering an ecological disaster from burning dilithium and killing nearly 1.5 billion people.
• The Comet Burke impacts the northern pole of Mars.

Enterprise Season Four

• USS Enterprise destroys the Xindi probe as it approaches Earth.
• The Temporal Cold War ends.
• Tensions rise with the Klingon Empire when one of their ships is captured by Augments created by Arik Soong. Ultimately, the Augment Crisis ended peacefully.
• A major reformation of Vulcan society when Kir'Shara, an artifact containing the writings of Surak, father of Vulcan logic, is found. Because of misdeeds in covering the truth up, including inciting the Andorians and bombing the United Earth embassy, the Vulcan High Command was disbanded.
• First contact is made with the Organians.
• The first cooperation between the major powers that would form the United Federation of Planets occurs when a Romulan drone ship attempts to destabilize the region.
• The 2nd warp five vessel USS Columbia is launched.

Enterprise Season Three

• Wreckage of a Borg sphere is found at the North Pole on Earth.
• Earth is attacked by a Xindi superweapon that kills 7 million people between Venezuela and Florida. Enterprise is sent to track them down in the Delphic Expanse.

Enterprise Season Two

• Capt. Archer and crew liberate Detention Complex 26 on Tandar Prime.
• USS Enterprise is the first ship to reach warp 5.
• First contact with the Romulan Star Empire is made by USS Enterprise when they are caught in a mine field.
• The Vulcans and Andorians sign a peace treaty.
• The Enterprise (NX-01) arrives at the mining colony on Paraagan II. One of her shuttles is believed to accidently ignite the tetrazine in the planet's atmosphere, killing all the colonists. Later it is discovered to have been a Suliban plot.
• First contact with the Tholian Assembly is made, as well as the Risians, Kriosians, and a dozen other species.

2151

Enterprise Season One

• Klaag crash-lands in Oklahoma on Earth, making the event first contact between Humans and Klingons.
• The first warp 5 capable starship USS Enterprise (NX-01) is launched under Captain Jonathan Archer.
• Rigel X is the first planet visited by the new Enterprise. Their mission there is to hunt for the kidnapped Klingon Klaag.
• Earth's first contact with the Andorian race takes place at a Vulcan monastery on P'Jem which is uncovered as a Vulcan surveillance post. Enterprise makes contact with at least 10 other species. The Andorians would later destroy the post.
• The Enterprise reaches the Human colony on Terra Nova. It was assumed "lost" since 2081, but in fact the planet had suffered a catastrophic meteor strike. The survivors had been forced underground.
• The Enterprise makes first contact with the Ferengi, although it isn't until 2364 that they are identified.
• First Contact between Earth and Akaali.
• First Contact with the Axanar.

2150

• Jonathan Archer is chosen to command the first NX-class warp 5 starship USS Enterprise.
• The United Earth Government is formed.
