Horsea One-Four is one of fifteen natural satellites of the M-class red giant star Horsea, located in the Alpha Quadrant's Antos Sector. These satellites vary in size and are thought to be the remains of two planets that collided over a billion years ago. All fifteen lack an atmosphere and are uninhabitable. One-Four is the second to last of these satellites, and the only one to keep a rotation and orbit similar to a planet.

In 2364, Starfleet set up a small orbital outpost on One-Four to gather information on the Ferengi Alliance. Eventually, the outpost was converted over for purely scientific observation.

The outpost was attacked by unknown forces in 2386 and was badly damaged. Only the intervention of the USS Trailblazer saved the outpost's compliment, although the ship was ultimately destroyed in the process. One of the survivors from the Trailblazer was her Chief of the Boat, Jeb Freeman. Details of the attack are still classified, but originally the Zarnac were believed responsible. Recent investigations, however, now confirm the culprits as a Kzinti reconnaissance-in-force.
