| The Silent Confederate is the collection of independant Planet-States that make up the Silence movement that seperated themselves from Unity (The governing body of the [[Kol]]). The main difference between their ships is the preference of color. The Kol prefer white and blue, where the Silent prefer Black and red.

| ===A Failing Ideal===
| |
| Free from the Oppression they saw under Unity, the Silent landed on a planet they would later name Auri. Here they tried to settle in and start living independent lives, interacting to form a society. At first, they simply lived as independent settlers, laws just assumed. But, over time, their numbers grew large, and they needed to form a government. A fair portion saw this as them giving up the freedom they had earned, and opposed it. But as time grew on, the pro-government and the anti-government grew equal, and a small conflict started. In a matter of days, a civil war covered Auri, until a comprimise was decided upon. The planet would be divided in half. Each would be a seperate Confederate State, and the two would run their lives how they saw fit. These two states soon became six, ranging from no government, to almost a strong Imperial Government.

| In time, the planet became crowded, and the Confederate States worked together to build ships and begin colonizing the surrounding planets. The First was Aquas, a planet covered in 90% water, with only a single belt of land running the equator. This planet became it's own state, and, in time the other planets that joined under the Silent would also become their own states, until the surrounding four star systems were all Silent States. This area of space became the Silent Confederate.

| ===The Silent Confederate===

| Currently six star systems large, the Confederate is consistent of thirty-two states, full of interior trade and defense. The Confederate boarders near the Romulan Star Empire, and a smaller species known as the Nyx, a race of fur covered people. The Confederate trades with the Nyx, and maintains a strong military presence near the Rolumans, weary of invasion.

| Their technology differs little from that of the [[Kol]].

| =Nova Cannon=
| |
| Very little is known about the Nova Cannon. The Silent had never intended to allow Starfleet of its existence, and since its leak, the group has revealed no more about it. All they will say is that they will reveal that information when the time is write, and only to those who they select. Nothing more has been said about it.

| As the Confederates each have their own governments, they do not have a sole military. Instead, a council is elected, with one member from each state, to lead the fleets lent to it by the States. These fleets serve the interests of the entire Confederacy.

| ===Ranks===

| The Silent have no rank lower than the officer ranks. Anyone who is not an officer on a ship doesn't possess a rank and is treated as such. It is also believed that the Silent earn the family honour to go only so far in the rank structure. Most are accepted to go as high as Kommender, with only a few families selected to go as high as High Kommender.

| High Kommender: This rank would be more equivalent to the rank of a Fleet Admiral. They are the most respected and highest rank in the Silent fleet. Any Kommender will gladly have one on their ship. Currently, one of the few is a Commander in Starfleet; Commander P'Kaos

| The top controlling force in the silent Fleet would be the High Council. They make all military decisions based on what they believe to be the best interest of the fleet.

| =Silence and Star Fleet=

| A few members of the Silent have chosen to completely leave their brethren to join Star Fleet. Promising their State government (or lack therein of) that they would only reveal the history, and never technology, they have become an unnoticed section in Star Fleet.

| The Silent Confederation recently boardered the Federation on a single system, more specifically on the planet PH3374. This planet was home to a species of similar, if less powerful Psionic abilities. The Confederation attempted to deal with them first by assimilation, then with eradication. The sepcifics as to why they ceased is unsure, but it is believed an internal affair, dealing with something being built, brought an end to the conflict for the time being

| ==Star Fleet Intelligence 'K-Protocol'==

| Under conditions of contact between a Confederate vessel and a Star Fleet vessel, the Star Fleet vessel will delete any sensor information, Communications logs, and submit the ship to an intensive scan. The two ships are then to part.

| ==Silent-Federation Alliance==

| Amid pressure from the Silent Defence Council, as well as the current Federation Administration, the Council has agreed to work into a disclosure agreement for the Silent Confederate, to make the Confederate a publicly available name. In return for information the Kol have gathered over the millennia about the Galaxy, as well as their extensive research into the Borg, the Federation will allow Kol vessels to operate within Federation space. Kol will now freely be able to join Star Fleet. The Kol are also believed to be assisting in upgrades to Federation Faster-Than-Light systems, as well as a joint effort into Anti-Borg weaponry, and Federation Personal Armour Systems.
