A Stardock class starbase in the Eta Tauri system, in the Pleaides cluster. The base is the location of a Starfleet Academy satellite campus.
Starbase 153 was the location from which the Emissary K'Ehleyr was launched for a critical meeting with the USS Enterprise-D in 2365. (TNG: "The Emissary"). The base was also attacked during the Dominion War in 2374, but defended herself admirably. (DS9: "In the Pale Moonlight").
This base is a non-playing facility and not an active Obsidian Fleet simulation.
