Dancer

Position Description

Dancing. A form of art which dates back, on Earth, to even our earliest years of Homo Sapien existance, when dance was a form of communication and story telling.

For our uses and purposes, Dancers are like Entertainers, except their instrument is their body. Using movement as a means of transferring mood, emotion and atmosphere, Dancers are most likely to be Civilians, as there has not yet been established if there is a Starfleet Academy of Dance.

Dancers will usually perform in either the Main Lounge, the Holodeck, or the establishment they are hired for. Dancers can do private shows, but that is up to the Dancer.

Dancers can also be knowledged in other forms from other species, though this information is not as yet recorded.
