Outpost 241

Located in the Alpha Eridani system, Outpost 241 is a Regula class starbase and lies deep enough within Federation space that it serves as a safe haven for maintenance on Starfleet vessels while still lying close enough to the front lines of the Fleet to remain a convenient stationing ground. The Outpost is a large supply station, a frequent stop of many Starfleet and commercial vessels traveling between the core Federation worlds and the outlying worlds near the Romulan Neutral Zone and the Typhon Expanse. Thus, a large and numerous crowd stops through Outpost.

The Outpost is also home to nine drydocks on geosynchronous orbit on the far side of the planet.
