R Type disrupter

The R Type disruptor was an innovation by Robelis, a low grade weapons research technician. Whereas most [Romulan]] disruptor cannons have a pair of pre-fire chambers where the disruptor pulse is prepared, the R type features just one, which is highly efficient but enables a much higher rate of fire, at a cost of accuracy. The power supply to the disruptors is also increased and the mount features three separate barrels, each capable of firing a pulse, giving the cannon a rate of fire up to seven times that of a P type cannon.
