Sol System

The Sol system is a planetary system of nine planets orbiting a type G2 star (known as Sol) located in Sector 001. It is the location of Earth, the capital of the United Federation of Planets.

The Sol system is the home to many Federation facilities, including Starfleet Command, Starfleet Academy, Utopia Planatia Fleet Yards, Copernicus Ship Yards, San Francisco Fleet Yards, and Earth Station McKinley.
