Starbase 212 is an Ithaca class starbase situated on the far side of the Beta Quadrant near Klingon territory. The USS Enterprise-D visited the station in 2369 during its investigation into the disappearance of Lt. Aquiel Uhnari. (TNG: "Aquiel")
The starbase was attacked twice during the Second Federation-Klingon War of 2371-72, and despite severe damage each time, never was captured.
