Draygo System

The Draygo System lies in the Kalandra sector of the Alpha Quadrant, only three light years from Cardassian space. There are four planets that orbit a single G4V star. Draygo IV is the only inhabitable world, with a large temperate zone. It was considered as a new home planet for the Boraalans, but never chosen.

The Dominion used the system as a forward operating base to launch further attacks into the sector during the war. It was abandoned upon their withdraw. The Federation Council once considered opening the planet to Cardassian refugees in 2377, but this was rejected by the intern Cardassian government. A small colony established by private interests sprang up the following year, putting 254 people in as settlers.
