MacArthur Station

Located on a chain of once-barren islands on Caldik Prime, MacArthur Station was constructed between 2339-41 as a Starfleet logistics base. There are massive warehouses, including some on large floating barges and in underwater storage units. The base also has extensive medical facilities and a hefty Starfleet Corps of Engineers prescence, given their ever-vigilant chore of keeping the system free of asteroids and meteors.

The station was a major target of the Dominion during the war. Although damaged several times by attacks, it never ceased operations but its defense did tie up considerable Federation Alliance assets.
