The Kestrel class shuttle is one of the most versatile craft in the Romulan Star Empire, essentially a cross between a runabout and a shuttle it has been standard on most Romulan vessels for eighty years. Easy to manufacture and highly versatile it is considered to be more useful than the comparative Federation vessels.
