| Personal History | Birth Born in the Summer of 2358, during epileptic seizures, which thankfully he has never shown any sign of suffering, that killed Akemi Sulu, his mother, Dajuna his father opted to give his son western name of James rather than a traditional Japanese name. Pre and Elementary School: Fukuoka English school Going to this school as a child has helped him travel the world as a good Japanese chef as it taught him to use English and Japanese fluently. The fact that he only had a western name at this school made no difference whatsoever as a formerly American English School there were many Western students and many with only Western Names. High School; Fukuoka Daiichi High School His first three years of James High school career often had him going home early once a week, especially after he started being trained in boxing, because of his need to teach bullies maybe it wasn't a good idea that picking on him was a bad idea. When the bullies found out his father was Danuja, and the fact that he could beat all of them because of his training the bullying stopped immediately. The last three years for those that continued, and none of the bullies returned, were so high paced to get people ready for their adult education which for James meant that any time he wasn't studying to get into the local Culinary college he was at the boxing gym training or for competitions. Culinary School Fukuoka College of Culinary Art Boxing Danuja Sulu and James boxing coach decided that he should have a year of learning the ropes before he got into the competition ring. This was what lead to most of the School Bullies deciding to not return because even though he couldn't get in the competition ring he was being trained to fight properly. In the three years that he was being trained to box and compete during high school he moved through the weight divisions from Miniumweight to Flywieght. As and adult he started at superflyweight and in the last few years before he left earth for the Scientific exploration vessel USS Wolff James had successfully held the JBC Supoer Lightweight and Welterweight titles for a whole year successfully defending each on four different occasions. |
