| Personal History | Summer was born at her family home on Betazed in 2365, to parents who are both Starfleet Officers. She developed her Betazoid abilities earlier than most and as such she spent a lot of her younger years between her parents ship and Betazed. Growing up she always showed an interest in life onboard a Starship, with a willingness to have a go at helping out when allowed. With her mother being a Counsellor it seemed logical that Summer would take up a role as a Counsellor like a lot of other Betazoids in Starfleet. At the age of 16 Summer enrolled at Betazed University taking the psychology track. She proved herself to be a dedicated student and graduated two years later with distinction. Applying to Starfleet Academy with her father’s sponsorship she was delighted to be accepted. She proved herself a dedicated student and showed an aptitude in Operations and Engineering as well as her Psychology Training. She was a well liked student and enjoyed spending time with her fellow students. She graduated four years later with distinction and was assigned to the USS Palatine. It was during her time aboard the Palatine that she met and fell in love with Bajoran Nilo Rodis. During her four years onboard they became an established couple and upon her reassignment to the USS Washington they resorted to a long distance relationship, meeting up when time allowed but in the long run long distance didn’t work out for them and they split up a few months later. Being assigned to the USS Wolff has given Summer a chance to start anew. |
