Personality & Traits

General Overview Kiroshi's Personality. One word can describe it; BIG. Kiroshi is loud, opinionated and direct. Always speaking to the point Kiroshi is not one to sugar coat anything. A dedicated Starlfeet Officer who is good at what she does. Engineering is life for her. She aims to live up to her heroes and to be the best that she can be at everything she does.

She is driven, she pays attention to the little things and she remembers everything! She is never one to hold grudges and generally will tell you what she thinks if you like it or not. As a person and a leader she is a good listener and does what she can to expose her staff to as much knowledge and as many experiences as possible. She is the wise teacher, the counselor who, to be honest, doesn't like to be counselled. She is outgoing and confident in her abilities but not in her inner self.

While she is everyone's friend she lets few be hers. She is not good at asking for help in a personal manner and she keeps her own soul to herself. She doesn't trust easily in even thought she gives the appearance of it. In some ways she is a contradiction and a mystery and in others an open book.

She does not stand for stupidity and she very much believes that there are stupid questions. She's a tad impatient and when she says she needs something done now she means now!

Character History / Other

Education To be filled in shortly
Personal History Growing Up:

Not much is known about Aiko's childhood. It is very much a mystery and she is determined to keep it that way. Her favourite quote is: "Your past does not define who you are today." Something that she heard a great man say once and that stuck with her. She avoids the topic of her past and instead focuses on the now and the future.

The Academy:

As a cadet she filled the roles of both nerd and popular kid. She studied every second that she got but it wasn't at the expense of her social commitments. She was captain of the archery team, captain of the wrestling team, top Flyer in the Academy flight team and head of the Engineering club.

Aiko had a voracious appetite for knowledge and was always up for extra assignments and learning more. She would take extra credit where she could get it and was always working and tinkering on some project.

Aiko was respected and loved by her professors and students and in the end graduated with top marks. Upon graduation she had her pick of assignments and chose the Abernathy, home of one of her academy mentors.

The Officer:

USS Abernathy - Even thought this was her top pick and though she learned a lot she was never quite comfortable on the ship. It never felt like home. It was here that she kept herself a little distant knowing that the experience would open doors for her and that she would learn a lot. She was described as a workaholic who was never off duty. She avoided social functions in favour of work and study and as a result she rose quickly to become a Senior level Engineer, one that was trusted with the most delicate of tasks.

Having gained that experience Aiko saw an opportunity. She applied for a transfer to the USS Cosmo as senior Engineer and was accepted.

USS Cosmo - The ship of her dreams. A Galaxy class starship that was a city in flight. There was always something to do but there was more of an appreciation for her skills. It was here that she was able to find the balance between work and pay and it was here that she not only did her job but started to learn and discover things about herself that she had not been able to before. This was her favourite and her most challenging assignment and soon she was the Engineering chief's number two person. It was here that she perfected several projects and finished her Masters in Engineering.

Aiko was on top of the world soaring to promotion as Assistant Chief. Everything was coming up roses until late one year when the ship was attacked by the Borg. It was there that she saw most of the crew lost and her own mentor assimilated. The even left a traumatic mark on her that she never recovered from. The ship was saved by the USS Constantin but Aiko could not bare to be on it any longer and when a new opportunity opened she jumped at it.

Promoted her transfer request was granted and she was given the post of Chief Engineer on the USS Glory, a ship she didn't stay on long. Thanks to a Captain that was a bully and several unwelcoming crew members. Within the first year she asked for another transfer, she didn't care where, and it was granted.

The USS Wolff - Info to come.
