| General Overview | Aeryn is a very friendly & welcoming young woman, it's taken her a little while to get over her time as a member of the Borg collective and as such it has speared her into wanting to help others. | Personal History | Aeryn was born at Starfleet Medical on Earth, her mother had a complicated pregnancy so it was decided she'd be best back on Earth for the birth of her child. Being raised aboard various Starships and starbases Aeryn was an atypical Starfleet child and so it seemed only logical that she'd join the Academy and become a Starfleet Officer like the rest of her family. It was during deep space exploration aboard her father's ship that they encountered the Borg, Aeryn was only a child but was unfortunate to be one of those in a set of escape pods that were launched from the ship that was caught and assimilated. It was only luck that she was a member of a Borg crew encountered years later by another ship commanded by her mother that saw her liberated from the collective, some called it foolish but her mother wasn't willing to let the opportunity fail and took full advantage to get her daughter back. A lot of years counselling and readjusting later Aeryn decided to apply to Starfleet Academy. Starfleet Career Having been accepted into the Academy Aeryn studied for a career in the Medical fields including Psychology which she excelled at, graduating the Academy four years later with honours. Since joining her previous ship the Pandora as Counsellor, Aeryn transferred position to Assistant Chief Medical Officer prior to moving on to the USS Wolff. |
