Alusian

Gamma Quadrant Race Compiled by Lieutenant Commander Smith (Thantoss), Chief Science Officer of the USS Cerberus.

While the former race indigenous to Alusia (namely, the Arkenon) matured beyond the limitations of the physical world, another young race sprung up from the last dregs of the corporeal Arkenon race. These "survivors" were weak and unknowledgeable, and bore only token resemblance to their sires.

They became the pawns of ambitious and self-centered Shun, whose lust for power had already corrupted the entirety of the powerful Arkenon race. Alusians served as the hosts of rogue Arkenon, who, due to Shun's usurping of political power, could only survive with the assistance of corporeal beings. In 2379, the Alusians and Arkenon were freed from the power of Hegemon Shun by Captain Salem Drake and the crew of the USS Cerberus.

Alusians are humanoid creatures with light green skin and hairless, nose less faces. Their eyes are pale auburn, and their hands feature two mutually-opposable thumbs. A boney ridge runs down the center of their bald scalp and down their backs.
