Andorian Military Institute

The Andorian Military Institute (usually abbreviated as AMI) is the training facility of the Andorian Defense Force. It is located on Andor and was founded over five hundred years ago. Most who attend AMI are assigned to ships and installations of the ADF, but some join Starfleet instead. The curriculum at AMI is similar to that of Starfleet Academy, but far more difficult.

In addition to the four year cadet program, AMI also has shorter programs for Starfleet Academy cadets and active Starfleet personnel.
