Arbazan

The Arbazan are natives of the small planet Arbaza located near the Phendrana Drifts. Similar to Humans in appeareance, they are a very wary and xenophobic society. It took decades of negotiations and trade before they opened up to outsiders, mostly Ferengi and later Federation species. Despite a stable government and thriving economy, Arbaza has little in way of resources to trade with off-world. In 2384, Arbaza became a Federation protectorate in hopes of taking part in galactic trade and staying safe from her larger neighbors.

Their natural extrovert tendencies and inability to trust others won the Arbazans the reputation as being "sexually-repressed". This is now known not to be the case.

One arena that they do excel in is intelligence-gathering. Arbazans are still curious about everyone and everything around them, but prefer to learn and study things covertly. Thus they have a large and very capable intelligence network. However, Arbazans aren't eager to share what they learn, even to friendly allies.
