Aurelian

The Aurelians are a species of bi-pedal avians native to the planet Aurelia. Typically, they have bright yellow feathers and blue eyes (although variations exist). They posses both arms and legs common to humanoid species, while their facial features and wings are very much bird-like. Most Aurelians are at least 6-feet tall with some reaching 9 feet in height. They are capable of flying short distances, albeit slowly and with great exertion. (The Animated Series: "Yesteryear")

Their lifespan is typically over one hundred years.

Aurelia joined the United Federation of Planets in 2248. One of the most famous Aurelians is the renown Federation historian, Loom Aleek-Om.
