Battle Dress Uniform

The standard SFMC battle dress uniform consists of many different layers of clothing and equipment designed to give a marine the maximum amount of protection without hampering on movement. There are many items which can be worn, some of them standard while others are optional dependant upon the situation at hand. This article will attempt to go through the various items which can be worn in a battle dress uniform from head to toe.

Head

Wrist

• Wrist Tricorder (Standard with IHADSS)

Hands

• Standard Marine Gloves (Optional)

Legs

• Standard Marine Trousers (Standard)
• M3 Body Armour Leggings (Standard)

Feet

• M4 Boots (Standard)
• M4A2 Boots (Optional)
