Battle of Cheron

The Battle of Cheron was the final and decisive engagement between the Romulan Star Empire and the United Earth-Vulcan-Andorian-Tellarite alliance in 2160. While the battle itself took place in relatively unexplored space, it had a resounding impact in interstellar relations. It ended in a victory for the budding Coalition of Planets and concluded the Earth-Romulan War. It was a humiliating defeat for the Romulans, who had little say when the Neutral Zone Treaty was officially signed. (Enterprise: "In a Mirror, Darkly [Part II]")
