The Beta Renner System is home to the planets of Antica, Selay (species), and in the same sector as the planet Parliament. The system lies along the border of the Federation and the Ferengi Alliance in the Alpha Quadrant.
After centuries of on-and-off again hostilities between them, the Anticans and the Selay applied for membership into the UFP in 2364. Delegates for both sides were transported to a diplomatic conference on Parliment by the USS Enterprise-D. (TNG: "Lonely Among Us")
