The Chief of Staff was the former head of the Office of Administrative Affairs of Obsidian Fleet before that Office was amalgamated with the Office of Awards and Services by the Fleet Council on October 17th, 2011. The role was merged with that of Awards and Services Director to become Fleet Services Director.

Duties and Responsibilites

Member of the Fleet Council
Responsible for ensuring the procedural elements of the Fleet Constitution are followed by the Fleet Council & Fleet Command.
Refers Proposals to JAG for commentary and recommendations.
Supervises the progress of Proposals, ensuring Commanding Officers are notified and consulted.
Develops, manages and supervises the Fleet Corps.
Responsible for ensuring Fleet Council Measures are implemented and followed through.
Other duties as may be assigned by the Joint Fleet Command.
