Child Care Facilities

Space stations and large exploratory vessels that allow families aboard typically have facilities aboard for child care. This allows for Starfleet parents to continue their duties without having to secure the services of someone to watch their children. These are typically operated by certified and licensed civilians contracted with Starfleet that have experience in early childhood care and development. Standard practices recommend both fun and educational activities.

These facilities are inspected regularly by members of the Medical Department.
