Class 1 Phaser Array

The Class 1 Phaser Array was the Klingon Defence Force's first foray into the phaser arrays carried by Federation vessels. They felt that the weapon would be an ideal complement to their pre-existing arsenal of weapons and provide added combat survivability. First mounted aboard the K'Vort class light cruiser. Based closely off of the Federation's Type VII Array, it features nearly identical characteristics, apart from a lower beam stability and higher damage, thanks to modifications made by the KDF.
