Deflector Control

Deflector control is the area aboard a starship where Operations personnel operate and maintain the main navigational deflector. Typically this station is located very close to the deflector itself. Under normal operations, the deflector is controlled from the Bridge from either the Operations console or the helm. Under certain high-load situations, such as a red-alert, control is handed off to the lower station.
