The planet Draylax orbits the star Epsilon Indi in a similarly named system. It is home to the species known as Draylaxians. By the 22nd Century, the planet lay within the major trade routes of the Earth Cargo Service about 12 light years from Sol.

Draylax was an early member of the United Federation of Planets.
