Edos

Edos (Atsuki III) is a Class M world, mostly comprised of large bodies of water and gigantic mountain ranges. It is found in the Atsuki system, near the Betreka Nebula in the Alpha Quadrant. Most of the life on the planet has adapted to live either an aquatic existence or in high altitudes. The Edosians have thrived here for generations, building elaborate mountain-side cities and massive cavern settlements. Their economy is based on aquaculture, mining, engineering, and tourism. Even though it is aligned with the Federation, it is common to see visitors from many worlds there, including Cardassians, Talarians, and Gorn.
