Federations News Service Correspondant

Position Description

The Federation News Service is responsible for providing news around the Federation. Sometimes, correspondants are assigned to individual starships to give news updates from that particular ship.

These correspondants are, in essence, journalists of the future, investigating not only human interests and activities on Earth, they explore the Galaxy along with the rest of the Federation, reporting on the activities of other species, on advancements in technology, on new members to the Federation, on discoveries made in particular fields of study, and more.

Correspondants based on particular ships are there to inform the public on issues which directly relate to current issues or are simply seen as special interest for the public.
