High capacity shielding system

The High Capacity Shielding System is the heaviest form of shielding used by the Federation with power requirements so vast and technological involvement so expansive that no starship is capable of sustaining it. Only starbases and other large installations can be equipped with these shields, providing them with a high degree of protection against even the most determined attacks or disastrous occurrences.
