Planet Ingraham B was home to a Federation colony near the Romulan Neutral Zone. The population was wiped out in 2266 by neural parasites, and ships from there transferred the deadly infestation to Deneva and three other planets. There have been several attempts to re-colonize the planet, but the last was cut short by the Dominion War.
Although abandoned, Ingraham B is still covertly used as a staging area for forays into Romulan territory by Starfleet Intelligence.
