Physical Profile
K'Ren is typical, if somewhat tall, for a Caitian. She is strong though not muscular, having a litheness few humans can match. Her body is covered in soft grey fur. This fur covers most of her body except her head where it has grown out to resemble hair. Two locks of braided hair hang down below her ears, a symbol of her devotion to her deity. K’Ren's tail extends almost to the floor where it curls up slightly. A single piercing over her right ear signifies her status as a wife and mother to be of a first litter.

A smart and intelligent young women, K'Ren is nevertheless somewhat naive having grown up under the shelter of two starfleet officers. She's outgoing though also somewhat introverted, an interesting combination which sometimes confuses people. K'Ren is also deeply spiritual, a member of a sect that follows much of the old practices of her world's religion.Ambitions

Biography
Born onboard the USS Lexington. K'Ren was the first child of M'Elise, conceived during a one night encounter between her mother and another officer. The man she would call father (not her biological father), befriended her mother and adopted K'Ren on her birth. Married shortly thereafter, her parent's would go on to have four more children together. K'Ren, along with her siblings, was raised on various starships and starbases as her parents' careers progressed, her mother eventually rising to take command of the USS Wolff in the Federation's Ninth Fleet.Life aboard a starship could be fun, especially with access to the holodecks and the vast array of worlds, both real and fantasy they created. K'Ren routinely immersed herself in the holodeck, exploring worlds and places all over explored space.It was also during this time that her instincts for raising young came into the fore. It was quite common in Caitian families for the older kits to assist in caring for the younger ones, supervising, helping, and feeding when both parents were occupied. Given the close knit nature of family and clan life, most Caitian children learned to care for their siblings and cousins at an early age. However, even among Caitians, the parenting instinct varied from individual to individual, and in K'Ren's case, was stronger than most.When she turned 16, K'Ren celebrated her coming of age ceremony, with her immediate family in attendance. Her mother sensing the instinct as strong in her daughter, and as the eldest niece of her mother's clan, she was given the option to train under her aunt, the clan's den mother, to become a clan mother herself in time.Shortly after the celebrations, K'Ren departed the Wolff for Caitia prime to train under her aunt while she pursued training of her own. Den mother's were expected to know more then just how to care for their clan, and so K'Ren chose to enroll in a local technical college.Just shy of her 18th birthday, K'Ren met a young Caitian named R'Sohl from a neighboring town. Both were studying at a regional college and the two hit it off extremely well.
