The planet Kzin is a Class M world that orbits the star 61 Ursae Majoris. It is the last of three planets in a system it shares its name with. It is a drier planet than Earth, with a denser surface gravity and longer days and years. The Kzinti call it their homeworld, and numerous prides call its plains, jungles, and cities home. While the surface continues to be devoted to agricultural and herding, much of the industrial base is located in orbit of the planet and its single moon. War is a profitable and much-sought after endeavor, and the Kzinti maintain a large fleet with a ready army as all males are expected to fight.
