Light shielding system (Romulan)

The light shielding system is a small Romulan shield generation system which is deployed almost exclusively on shuttles and scout vessels. In addition to this a number of civilian vessels constructed by Romulan shipyards also mount this. The level of shielding provision is marginally lower than comparative Federation shielding systems deployed on small starships and large runabouts, because the Romulan Star Empire does not often intend their scout vessels to get into combat.
