Logistics Officer
A Logistics Officer is a member of Starfleet responsible for overseeing the supplying of a fighting force. Logistics Officers can be stationary on military bases or deployed as an active part of a Marine Division, Starfighter Wing, or Starship (or fleet). The responsibilities of Logistics Officers vary, depending on where they are deployed and what tasks they are assigned. The main role of these officers remains the same regardless of where they are stationed; to ensure that the fighting force is supplied with enough food, water, fuel and ammunition to complete the task at hand.
In Strategic Operations these officers job is to supply a much larger base, such as a fleet, but ensuring that there are open shipping lanes, and that any force in combat is well supplied.
