Marine Pilot
A Starfleet Marine Corps pilot is the Marine equivalent of a Starfleet Fighter Pilot or Support Craft Pilot. They are either a Commissioned Officer or Warrant Officer trained to operate and maintain any Auxiliary craft assigned and used by the Marine Detachment. This includes all shuttle craft and Transports, such as the Wyvern hoppers, Firefly transport as well as Any shuttle called upon.
Pilots with advanced training are authorized to fly combat starfighers such as Razor class Interceptors, Broadsword class Attack fighters, or Raptor class Superiority Fighters.
Marine pilots report to the commander of the Marine aerospace contingent, and coordinate with the starship or starbase Flight Control Operations department for flight plans and space traffic control.
