The Regulan bloodworm, inhabits both the Regulus II and Regulus V in the Alpha Leonis system. It is a soft shapeless organism with its internal organs and circulatory system visible through its milky, translucent skin. Grouping by the thousands, they live in shady damp areas. Feared parasites, the bloodworms attach themselves to their hosts by the use of four mouths located at the end of tentacle-like appendages. Fortunately, the areas where the bloodworms thrive are limited, and they pose no great threat to the populace of either planet.
