Ryika Imperium

The Ryika Imperium are a small sub-faction of the Ryuu race. They are the smallest of all three Delta Quadrant Ryuu factions, their territory is a significant distance from that of either the Ryuu Confederacy or the Vwoial Refuge as a result of an incident known as the exodus, which occurred at the dawn of the Ryuu Space Age, over 900 years ago. The Imperium was founded from the last remnants of the Ryika Imperium who boarded a generational low warp starship in search of a new time. At roughly the same time the Vwoial Refuge departed in four generational low warp starships in a different direction and would eventually found four small refuges, three in the Delta Quadrant and one on the far edge of the Beta Quadrant.

The Ryika are a traditional Monarchical society and like their cousins the Ryuu Confederacy are extremely bellicose and operate in a strictly organised class system, although the Ryika system is different to that of the Ryuu's.
