The ship's store is a location aboard Federation starships and Starbases set aside for items usually not carried in the Cargo Bays. Such items included apparel, tools, and samples of compounds. The store is typically overseen by the Quartermaster aboard stations and a Chief Petty Officer called a Storekeeper on ships.
