Starbase 84

Starbase 84 is one of many floating refit and resupply bases for the Alpha Quadrant along the Romulan Neutral Zone. It is a Stardock class station that can embay 12 Galaxy class starships and dock 24 Akira class ships simultaneously. A number of industrial planets keep Starbase 84 supplied with dilithium, duranium, and even pre-built warp cores and phase arrays.
In 2370, the USS Enterprise-D docked here to have a new warp core installed. (TNG: "Phantasms")
