Station Dante

Station Dante is a Starfleet mining Colony on the far outskirts of Federation territory. She is located in the system fondly known as Sy9812, the colony is also supported by Mjolnir Station, to transfer materials out of the system and to defend the colony. The Colony is placed to exploit rich deposits of deuterium, metals, and many other useful materials. Due to the richness of the resource deposits on the planet, the Colony is defended by an entire Regiment of Marines, the 426th Heavy Infantry Regiment under the command of Colonel Smith.

Station Dante is an experimental type of mining colony, the Triton class, a completely self contained deuterium mining facility and colony, capable of supporting 6500 residents, 500 Visitors and 1200 Marines as well as containing recreation facilities, shops, mining facilities, research facilites and heavy defence systems.

The USS Chimera was recently assigned to the Sy9812 System and Station Dante with a remit to offer support and assistance to the fledgling mining operation.
